GhostLetter ("we", "our", or "the app") is a crypto and DeFi news aggregator. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

// Information We Collect

Email address — collected only when you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter. We store this in a secure database to send you news briefings at the frequency you choose (daily, weekly, or monthly).

No other personal data is collected. We do not collect names, phone numbers, location, device identifiers, or usage analytics.

// Android Widget

The GhostLetter Android widget fetches publicly available news headlines from our API at ghostletter.online/api/news. This is a one-way outbound request — no personal data is sent.

The widget does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from your device. No account is required to use the widget.

// How We Use Your Email

Your email is used solely to send the GhostLetter newsletter at the frequency you selected. We do not:

Sell or share your email with third parties
Use it for advertising or tracking
Send unsolicited communications

Emails are delivered via Resend (resend.com), a transactional email service. Their privacy policy applies to email delivery infrastructure.

// Data Storage

Subscriber email addresses are stored in a secure database hosted by Supabase(supabase.com). Data is stored in the US (AWS us-east-1 region). Supabase's privacy policy applies to infrastructure-level data handling.

// Unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any newsletter email with the word "unsubscribe", or by contacting us at privacy@ghostletter.online. Your email will be permanently deleted within 7 days.

// Third-Party Links

The app and widget display links to third-party news articles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. Click-through is entirely at your discretion.

// Children's Privacy

GhostLetter is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted their email, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

// Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
